Pics loading faster?

I know pics never loaded that fast here. Something everyone needs to remember is that the size limit is huge on here so a lot of these pictures you're attempting to display are much larger than what is allowed on other forums.

What's everyone's opinion?

Overall the site and pics seem to be loading faster

i never had a real problem loading issues, but yeah, they are loading faster

Seems to be loading faster. Something everyone might consider is linking them for a remote site such as Flickr or Photobucket. Use the 640 or less on longest side version and it won't blowout pages and site will load faster. Just a thought.

But yeah, whole site seems snappier.

I've learned that when I email or upload pictures that I need to downsize them from 6.1 MP, but I normally just resize to 1028x1028 or whatever the setting is.

Pictures hosted on our site have always loaded plenty fast for me. Sometimes a thread will load a little slow if someone has a million fullsize Photobucket pictures. Those always piss me off anyway because I have to sidescroll to read the thread.
