Early 70's Wankal Pather

Worth anything in decent running condition?

OCR 01-27-2009 03:43 AM

Yes, not easy to find in running condition.

SnowAttitude 01-27-2009 06:16 AM

I have one.

Does the recoil work?? Ill buy it just for that. LOL

cuzzinolaf 01-27-2009 07:54 AM

$250 or so for it and it runs. Loud fucker the last time I heard it. It is in decent shape and I'll have to check it thoroughly.

not fast, but they would climb about anything you pointed them at.

Gotmud 02-16-2009 07:51 AM

I saw an engine for one of these on ebay last week, over $300 just for the engine!

cuzzinolaf 02-16-2009 08:22 AM

Hmmm! I am picking it up either in a few weeks or bringing it home when my sleds come home for the season. It will be a summer project.

And now we see the start of a collection that will span the rest of his life.........................

After seeing the Wankal's offtrail prowess you might want to consider bringing the m8 home first instead.

Yea, the Wankel got further off-trail than the Ski-Doo on that day over at the shop. :stirpot:

The Gerbil 02-16-2009 10:02 AM

That really wasn't surprising was it?

Nope, and next year it shouldn't be much different with the Poo. :stirpot:

The Gerbil 02-16-2009 10:13 AM

At least the new one starts in 2-3 pulls when it's cold. That should save me a lot of swearing in the morning at least.

The Gerbil 02-16-2009 10:20 AM

Hell yea! Arctic Cats RULE!

The Gerbil 02-16-2009 11:16 AM

I would be up for any number of triples but D&D doesn't make an 1132 big bore kit for anything but the zrt so what other choice could I possibly have?

Apex!

RX1-ton!

The Gerbil 02-16-2009 11:23 AM

I meant a triple that actually delivered some power not a Yammi.

OCR 02-16-2009 02:12 PM

I can see it now, in 10 years Cuzzi has a fleet of those old iron sleds.
