This is NJDs SXR he just had it stretched to 136". He sent the pics in email so I'm posting them for him. Not sure of the specs, but I believe it's a 700 triple? Give us the lowdown on your ride Dave.

Looks nice.

NJD 03-11-2009 02:23 PM

Its a 2001 SXR700 Triple. Hope it runs like a raped ape this weekend in the pow if we find some in the Yoop. Thanks for posting Mud.

fgsacts 03-11-2009 02:26 PM

Can't wait to see it tonight.

Gotmud 03-12-2009 06:54 AM

You guys still going to the UP this weekend? I know of a couple rivers we could take it down so you can test it's abilities lol. Hopefully it works out better than last time lol.:poosy:

Madcow 03-12-2009 09:36 AM

nice looking machine!!

Dave's sled ran great after one minor issue the first day. Trail side fix and we were good to go. I think the boondocking bug has bit him hard.

Gotmud 03-19-2009 08:35 PM

How was the riding?

fgsacts 03-19-2009 08:59 PM

Not to bad really. The powerlines were very set up but we had a blast in the trees. Several stucks. The snow turned to oatmeal on Saturday. Riding in sweatshirts and goggles off. It was a good last trip for me. I am sure things will be better out west when you woop up on the Thunderstruck guys.

:woohoo:

Dirty_Harry 03-23-2009 04:31 PM

the_hog 03-25-2009 11:12 AM

Gotmud 03-25-2009 11:20 AM

Definatly heavy and nothing I would consider an off trail machine without some major work, but you cant do anything about the weight of the engine.

although it gets a bad rap for being heavy, many other sleds are heavier and or very near the same weight. You just dont see them advertising this way in print.

Having 2 Apex's they suck to pull out of snow....LOL

Although the phazer is fun to ride, and goof around on.

Stepping onto a phazer coming off the Apex is like when I leave the track after racing all weekend in a slow pick up truck.

Phazer is kinda like the mopeds, fun and all. But not what Im looking for from a sled.

Ibreakstuff 12-23-2009 02:09 PM
