too much fuel
 
put new seals and bearings in my chaincase 2day and when i fired the 1998 xc 700 polaris it keep loading with fuel, so i turned off fuel and it got better and if i keep the shut off 1/2 way it runs good at high rrrs but floods on low rrrs , had a simale problem 2 years ago and i put in new needle and seats with no luck then i rebuilt the fuel pump and its been fine ever seence , could the fuel pump need rebuilding already !!!!!!!!! thanks

see if your floats are sticking

with the carbs off of the sled, take the bouls off the carbs, hook up 5lbs of air pressure to the fuel input line of the carbs, you will hear air hissing out of the needle and seat, if you lift the bouls with your finger it should stop. if it does then check fuel pump, if not then get new needle and seats.
