cant i put a 2 in track on a pro x r 800 2004 witn a 144 suspension

I wish I could answer you conclusively but I have no first hand knowledge of the sled. I did get a 2" paddle on a '03 Ski Doo Renegade that I stretched out to 144". Not comparing apples to apples I understand. I am sure someone that has more knowledge of your sled will chime in here shortly.

I put a 2x15x144 challenger on my 05 edge chassis switchback with no problems. same drivers, direct change out. The area you are concerned with is at the very front of the suspension. Make sure you have a minimum of 1/2" clearance between bulk head and track lugs when installed. you should have about 1" to 1 1/4" with stock track.
