Snowies Trip - Jan. 11th through Jan. 16th

Just got an update on Johndee as to how many people are going. So far we're rollin' 29 deep with more to speak up. This is going to be nuts.

Gotmud 10-20-2010 07:53 AM

^^ I'm not interested in riding 20+ deep. I hope everyone is staying and riding in different locations?

Where gonna have a friggen train like Harry has with you every weekend. Of fuckin' course we're not riding 20 deep and will be splitting into groups. Silly troll!

flatlander_summit 10-20-2010 09:50 AM

I'm with Rich, that sounds like a cluster fuck, even if you split into groups.

Gotmud 10-20-2010 10:11 AM

Yeah I'm unsure about this. Sure there is alot of space for everyone, but try keeping 5 groups of 6 riders in different areas all day. I forsee everyone finding everyone elses tracked up snow.

rock2324 10-20-2010 10:26 AM

What do you have to worry about Rich?

That Assault will take you places the others can only dream about!:stirpot:

Have you seen the Greenrock parking lot when full? Truck and trailers stretch a mile of the road and you might not see anyone all day. Relax!

I need a new smiley just to reply to this thread. Anyone know where to get a smiley flicking a booger?

You might see plenty of sleds sitting in the parking lot with your broken down Pooplaris.

Gotmud 10-20-2010 12:00 PM

I'm not bringing the triple.

fgsacts 10-20-2010 04:36 PM

I am with Cuz. I have ridden out there several times. The parking lot will be full with or without us. There is plenty of space to ride. Would not even attempt to keep that many together. Break up into groups of six or less and all meet back at the cabins in the evening.

Vertical_Escape 11-05-2010 01:51 PM

Andy is this the trip you were talking about?

Have to see what my schedule is like then. Might be able to run over for weekend anyway.

fgsacts 11-05-2010 02:27 PM

You betcha Tim. Hope you can make it. Would be nice to actually meet you in person.

Gotmud 11-05-2010 02:32 PM

No shit, would be awesome to finally meet ya geezer!:beerchug:

Per JD on our weather for the drive out there and the riding.

Drive out looks pretty good, with snows ending in NE today, IA tomorrow morning and IL during the day tomorrow. Drive back right now looks clear. Weather for the riding period looks pretty good. A few snow showers, but nothing that looks to amount to much. Winds do not look to bad (for the snowies anyway) and temps look good, with teens and 20's for highs.

Vertical_Escape 01-10-2011 09:17 PM

So this trip is pending? Not sure on Snowies area, but storms moving in late week in Western Wyoming.

And Cuzz you're looking somewhere I'm not .... I show 78 inches @ French Creek.
Check daily totals HERE

BTW .... in Denver area all week, sleds at home... go figure.
