rich? what you got still....

i have a few BMX helmets and jetski helmets i can wear but i like the closed face helmet for when im riding trails

Prefer it to somewhat match my outfit...I have the Arctiva full gear in the white/gray camo.

my head fits tight in Medium and loose in large...

Shit I don't think I have any left. I probably have 10 helmets on the shelf but they all get used.

stagesrt4 11-15-2011 09:15 AM

its all good

anyone else have a dozen helmets like rich?

DirtylilWolfess 11-15-2011 09:53 AM

I have five, but only the motocross style ones, and there is no friggan way they'd fit on your head. Even if they did, they've experienced hard enough crashes that I won't wear them again unless it's just to keep my head warm.

Rich, where's my red helmet?

Gotmud 11-15-2011 11:51 AM

Lol I still have that pos, I'll bring it with if you go riding this year?:poke:

I have an all black full faced that I use for trails. If I get my Polaris one fixed I don't need it anymore.

kk just lmk

im sure ill find one on craigslist or ebay cheap if i give it time

flatlander_summit 11-16-2011 09:28 AM

I would pony up the ching for a new helmet, you should be able to find a good full faced helmet for around $100. I wouldn't trust a used helmet from anyone.

Gotmud 11-16-2011 09:33 AM

^^ I didn't want to say it but I agree. Think about it for a second, how much do you sweat when riding? I know I sweat in buckets, do you want to wear that? You can find a new helmet for $60 if you look around, personally I'd go the sweat-free helmet route.

Edit:
I just checked the clearance section on Denniskirk.com, check it out. I've purchased a couple helmets over the years from their clearance, not damaged and brand new for way less than $100.:thumbss:

Bikebandit was where I picked up my latest (not scratched brand new) lid for a whopping 42 dollars.
