ATV Camouflage Wrap

Hey guys,

Have any of you ever seen or tried this Mossy Oak Graphics ATV Camo Kit.
My Polaris Sportsman is the Sonic Blue and its starting to show it's age with all the scratches. Most of my friends have camo bikes and when they wash them down after a ride they still look like new!
I know its a little pricey but what do u all think. I'm using the "Break-Up Infinity" design. They say that "All graphics have a 5 year anti-fade warranty"

I ordered the ATV Mossy Oak Break-Up Infinity Kit for my bike. Plus I added 2 more feet of Camo to do the insides of the fenders, since my bike is Sonic Blue. I'll post pic's

This vinyl is top of the line removable from 3M. It sounds like great stuff. As for the cost, the sheet that I ordered is 4'x9' for $162. with free ground shipping. I decided to not have it shipped but rather just drive and pick it up because I also needed some 3M #94 Primer that I cant buy over here in Canada.

I have washed the plastics with hot soapy water (Dish Soap). I wipe all the plastics down with 70% isopropyl alcohol.

8 Hour PITA. No it wasn't to bad of a job to do but I came across a few problems. I was on the front fenders and I cut the graphic to size but then realized that the pattern was going the wrong way. Damit!!!! So I had to piece the front together. Oh well it still looks great.

I went back over the entire bike with the heat gun and a squeegee this morning. I was able to remove about 90% of all the wrinkles and air bubbles.

I also finished painting the inner fender wells with Krylon Brown Flat Camo paint. I think it looks better than the Blue!

No doubt it looks like new!

Could also be used as part of a elaborate scheme to hide a new bike from the wife.

Looks awesome!

I honestly thought bikes had two wheels. Not four?

Either way, you did a kickass job and probably have way more patience than I do. My (work) wheeler won't look ugly for a few more years yet unless I do something stupid to it. But I might have to consider this option for a personal wheeler since my boss is not cool enough to allow stickers.

Ratstang 12-04-2011 10:09 AM

Just to clarify bikes do have two wheels.
From now on I will dig deeper in to my shallow vocabulary before posting.
Bike WTF, it just shows I live on a hill.

PolarisRich 12-04-2011 10:33 PM

Wolfess! Are you starting trouble again!!!! :cop:
4 is twice as fun in the mud!
