psi pipes on wildcat

how good are the psi pipes on the wildcats. I just bought a 91 wildcat w/carbs for 250 and it has the psi pipes. The mag side is beat to shit. Thanks

Ocr might know?

if the pipes beat up and dented it will end up hurting you more then helping you, if you mean beat by just rusting, clean them up and run em, psi will perform way better then a stock system. Just if you use them be sure to check the jetting, make sure its correct instead of trusting someone elses judgment and burning it down.

post picks if you want opinions on "beatness"

I would never buy anything PSI because the owner is a rude prick. I had to call him once to get jetting recommendations for a head and he treated me like some kind of inbreed idiot. I've heard he even tries to charge people for his jetting/clutching recommendations now lol. Worst customer support I've personally ever experienced in the snowmobiling world. :bitchdrama:

PSI pipes and AC = hold onto your ass.
Post a picture of the pipes so we can see how they are and recommend if you should keep running them.

Here are the pics of the pipe after the welding but before i do any dent removal. I don't have any other pipes for this sled. The pto pipe is great, just rusty.

ouch!

snake61047 01-26-2012 09:27 PM

That's what I thought when I pulled the first pipe

I have a set of pipes from a 90 that will fit that if needed.
$75 + shipping.
If you want them, contact me by PM.

^^Would probably be a better option. I personally wouldn't run the pipes you pictured.
