Anyone else want to represent Team Nutz next year?

Went to the Neosho Cup Lakecross today. Looked more like a snowmobile safety training course than a race track, but anyway, I'm going to build a sled to race there next year. So I'm going to be in the market for a cheap wedge/GenII.

^^thats an evolve chassis

I assume u want L/C?

blue avenger 02-11-2012 05:12 PM

yes it is, brain fart!!!!!!

Powersledder 02-11-2012 07:35 PM

Yes L/C, I've actually started thinking I might want a ultra, XLT or XCR. The little extra weight up front might help keep the skis down in the corners.

DirtylilWolfess 02-13-2012 12:52 AM

That looks like a fun way to make a fool of myself and break my shit!

Someone got a boob-friendly Tek-Vest and a beater sled for me to borrow!?!?!

Poser are you interested in my 96 wedge? I have the tunnel with rear suspension, 121" studded track, hood and belly pan, chaincase driveshaft/jackshaft. I don't have gastank, seat, entire front suspension. You can have it if you want. This is an extra 12 chassis.

That would be a starting point

Gotmud 02-19-2012 10:20 AM

Start looking for a front suspension and engine then homie.:thumbss:

the_hog 02-19-2012 10:32 AM

Bill, would you be interested in a 650 punched out to 693 race ported, head cuts, etc. Its a race motor basically. I could make you a pretty good deal. I even have pipes for it.

stagesrt4 02-19-2012 11:35 AM

I sold pretty much all my extra rxl parts

I have a 488 gas tank if u want it

I also have trailing arms n skis from 91 Indy trail(yellow)

I have front shocks, but they're pretty soft/worn. Non of which is extra 12

Gotmud 02-19-2012 01:34 PM

The chassis was my rxl chassis, so that motor will bolt right in!

Funny

Powersledder 02-19-2012 11:13 PM

Alright, alright. What's "a god deal" Tim?

the_hog 02-20-2012 07:22 PM

I dont know what a god deal is but hows this sound for a good deal. $500 for the motor, carbs no cables though, primary, cdi, etc and then $200 for the pipes and you have a choice between deckers or slps, its a decker motor so I would go with the deckers myself. You pay shipping.

Slamdry 02-20-2012 08:06 PM

wow 700 for a virtual bolt in, daum, any idea what it makes for numbers??

Powersledder 02-20-2012 08:33 PM

Pretty spendy when you aren't even including throttle cables....

You'll have to give me some more specs on that engine. I know you slapped it together a few years ago and probably never rode it much. But is the midrange any good for a short cross country style race? Able to swap out clutches/gearing and putz on over to the drag track after the races?

Slamdry 02-20-2012 08:52 PM

i bet you SD can make you up a nice set of cables for it though

I hope you are joking about the spendy part.

I put it together and never fired it cause that was right when I got my PSI motor and it took a back seat to that, so I cant tell you how the mid range is. Its a 693 decker race motor, carries 180lbs of compression. Yes you would be able to drag race the motor. I am pretty sure I have pictures of the port work somewhere, I will see if I can dig them up.

the_hog 02-20-2012 09:20 PM

Forgot to add its wiseco prolites in it for pistons and the carbs are taper bored to 39.5.

Bill seriously.... hows the mid range, able to swap clutches and gears, WTF if you have to ask these type of questions you really shouldn't get into this. sounds like this is way over your head. If you feel that it's over priced for what is on the table step away from the table because your obviously FULL.

Hog I'm going to hold you to that price if Poser backs out.
