Racing 2012

First race of the season was two weeks ago.

Brooks, MN

I hauled ass on the new 150R, and took 2nd in the Women's class, beating out a 450 that had constantly kicked my ass last year. :woot:

450C wasn't as awesome. 3rd out of 4, with a close battle for 2nd in the second moto. I got a little sideways through the rhythm section on the 250 and nearly killed myself, but somehow stayed latched onto the handlebars long enough to stay rubber side up...somehow. I wish I could've seen that one!

blue avenger 05-20-2012 10:14 AM

There would be less pain and expense to just go out and buy the trophy's! Then you can have all first!! LOL

Cberan 05-20-2012 11:50 AM

For crying out loud Wolfie, how can you handle a 250???

Is it a four stroke or a two?

DirtylilWolfess 05-23-2012 11:11 PM

250 2-stroke. It handles me a lot. I love it.

This past weekend was a double header, so I raced both Saturday and Sunday.

I did fairly shitty, especially since we had half the Canadian Women's class pros show up. 2nd to last in Women's both days. Last both days in the 450C.

It was still a pretty kickass weekend.

If you want some shit to stare at, google the chick called "Ami Houde" I BSed with her for a while. She kicked my ass majorly.

blue avenger 05-25-2012 10:01 AM

LOL I would let her win too!

C'mon Beth, you need to start posing for pics like that so you can get more and better sponsers to ket you better equipment to race with.

I think she's cute because she doesn't have any stupid looking metal shit hanging out of her bellybutton like all chicks have these days.

DirtylilWolfess 06-03-2012 02:04 PM

I never did the metal shit hanging out of the bellybutton. I just have a grody scar.

Last weekend was supposed to be a double header in Finley, but we only made it through the first day.

450C went kinda well? I spanked the pants off everyone on the line. It's probably the biggest holeshot I've ever had against the guys. It set me off laughing kinda hard because it was so much fun. After the first corner, one guy snuck by since I have to slow up to wrestle that thing through the corners. Then he promptly lost it right in front of me. I hit him and went down too.

I held very still and waited for death or carnage as the next 5 bikes came past. I had a couple footpegs and tires touch my helmet, but that was all. We picked our shit up, apologized and took off. My smoker started on the first kick, and I got a nice little lead as he kicked his thumper 400 times. It was his first race. He passed me kinda safely, but he went right off the end of the track, and had to pass me two more times thanks to going off the end of the track. Crazy bastard.

Hottie bitch wasn't there, in fact, we only had four of us women at the gate. That track is kinda in the middle of nowhere, so that was to be expected. I got on my 150, expecting to spank some pants off, but I was wrong. I passed them in the corners, only to have them fly by and walk away in the straights, even though they were short.

3rd outta 4. I also got roosted so bad in the start that I couldn't see anything, and it was sticky clay that remained on my goggles for the rest of the race. It was pretty hilarious. That track was wickedly fun on the little bike, but I'm pretty sure it needs a big bore kit.

The next 450 class went good, no crashes and some wickedly close racing between me and one other bike. I got pushed too hard though, and was a little too tired for the women's class which was two races later. I decided to ride the big bike in the women's class too, thinking I'd have an advantage on at least one of the riders since we are close in skill. Held her off for two laps, and then she got me. I got kicked by some braking bumps and had bad headshake and had to let off. I think I would've had her if not for that.

Kickass race day nonetheless.

flatlander_summit 06-05-2012 03:14 AM

I didn't hear about the Finley races until after the races. I would have liked to have shown up there. It's only about 30 miles from me.

I didn't realize this. It would've been cool to see you again.

Highly unlikely, but there is a small chance that we may be back there again since we got rained out and have a make up date set aside for later on this summer.

DirtylilWolfess 06-12-2012 12:11 AM

Saturday had me in Glyndon for the first time in about 10 years.

The track hasn't changed, but this time I had half a clue how to shift and do jumps, so I had a wickedly good time. The track, I think, was designed for a big bore kitted thumper 150. Myself, having only a normal 150 thumper, still had a stellar time.

3rd in Women's. 3rd (holeshot both times, but placed last) in 450C.

I came dangerously close to heat stroke thanks to some near back to back motos, but survived nonetheless, and even had the energy to work on my hauler project the next day.

DirtylilWolfess 06-28-2012 05:11 PM

Last weekend was Brooks again. That track is brutal unless you're first at the gates.

Women were first at the gates, and there weren't too many of us so there was a double drop with the younger women's class (12 and under).

I dropped the clutch, looked back once to be sure I didn't cut in front of a brand new racer, took a damn fine holeshot and proceeded to screw off for the rest of the race.

I pretended to do whips and rode like a goon doing wheelies and gigantic powerslides (those were actually pretty badass except the one time I just about high sided). I was laughing like a little fool the whole time, and the rest of the Northern Faction, who are professional flaggers now, were giggling at my sweet moves.

I won. :woohoo: 1st place bitches!

Since there was no real pressure in the Women's class, I stepped it up on the big bike a little bit and managed to not get lapped. I struggled a bunch but it was all good. 4th overall.

Kickass weekend!

DirtylilWolfess 07-31-2012 11:55 PM

So, more races have happened, and I'm getting better and better, little by little.

Some vets came and chatted me up about racing the little 4-stroker. "DON'T you short shift that little bike ever again! Pin that little bastard till you hear the limiter scream, THEN shift and not one damn second before!"

So I did that in practice. The result? Only 3 of those fast old farts on their 450s passed me. Normally a practice session results in my getting lapped, which means taking 450 roost 19 times (or more).

My ego was majorly stroked when one of those guys (who usually roosts me in the first corner) came up and laid out compliments left and right. "I have never seen you haul ass like that before! [you were] FLYIN' GIRL!"

Not only that, but instead of being a half lap behind the person in front of me, and the Canadian women pros, I was less than two corners behind.

Season points:

Women's Open: 1st by 58 points.

450C: 1st by 31 points.

That will all change with the season end math, but I've never been this far ahead before. Just to prove I'm not being a danny, you can look it up on dmcmotorsports.com :poosy:

Gotmud 08-01-2012 08:04 AM

LOL congrats Wolfy!! We haven't been to a race all year. With one thing or another it just seems we are busy on every scheduled race. Shane has his first dirtbike this year, yeah I gave up pushing the atv on him lol. The MX track close to my house "Dutch Sport Park" has an open track day in a couple weekends, I think I"m going to let him give it a shot.

DirtylilWolfess 08-01-2012 12:26 PM

I looked up that track. It looks downright awesome. None of the shit I ride even comes close to being that nice!

What'd you get MiniMud for wheels?

DirtylilWolfess 08-01-2012 02:25 PM

So, here is the reason I ride 450C instead of 250C.

It's like this every time.

Yeah the track is pretty bad ass, we've been there to watch a few times. He got a 2000 Honda XR80. Wanted a smoker but decided he better cut his teeth on something a little tamer lol. He's actually doing very well riding and I'm sure he'll be piloting an 85 next year.

DirtylilWolfess 08-01-2012 03:22 PM

Unless he completely demolishes it, you probably did a good thing in buying that bike, and won't lose any of your favorite dollars on it. It won't be long before you're throwing a big bore/and/or stroker kit in it!

Ratstang 08-02-2012 07:48 PM

Wolfy, congratulations on standing in first. Looks like your riding with a bunch of dudes in 450c..Awsome! What will happen with the end of season math? Do your points get divided by how many races you have raced?

It seemed 156 in the sketchy video was all set until the last two feet. Reving the bike and letting it go is sketchy. He got what he deserved.

DirtylilWolfess 08-02-2012 08:17 PM

250C is all nuts and sketchiness!!! They usually have a 20-25 rider gate, while 450C is usually 2-7 riders, and almost all of them all of 30 years old or older!

The exception is myself and 2 other guys who strongly respect my space! They don't mind when I holeshot them, so long as I don't get in the way in the next two corners!

DirtylilWolfess 09-05-2012 09:56 PM

So fly! :)

Gotmud 09-06-2012 07:42 AM

Nice red X, so fly lol :bitchdrama:
