Difference in triple throttle cables?

I need a throttle cable for a 93 xlt. I noticed on hiperf.com that there are different part numbers for certain year xlt's, and xcr triples are different numbers too.. Anyone know why?

The one thats on this xlt is short as fuck (and busted) and it would be nice to get one at least longer than this current one while its getting replaced. So im wondering if the different part numbers are just for the length, or what I figured all the triples would basically be the same if its got 3 carbs and an injector cable.

Also, any good places to buy it? I was thinking of getting it from hiperf.com but i dont know what brand the cables are or anything. Looking to order it by tomorrow so i can hopefully get it this week.

Also polaris site says same thing, that that cable only fits the xlt's..

One had a clear casing on the 1+3 junction and the other was a black ABS housing. PM student_driver and see if he can make you a cable.

Is there possibly any other difference? So can i order one that is for an xcr, or other year xlt than 93?

I would like to assume almost any triple throttle cable would work, especially off any xcr or xlt.. Hmm..

Well i ordered one that says its for the sled and just got it over with. Just hope its a little longer than the one it had.

Just cruising and noticed this old thread.
Ya, just for info's sake, the XLT and XCR cables will all interchange. Ultra cable too.
