Hi all you poloris nuts
I have a poloris 1999 xcf 440 sp. iam trying to find some pistons for this engine. poloris only made 2000 of these engines, and cannot find pistons no where. the bore is 65.5 does anyone have any information on this I would welcome it.

Everything I am finding says your bore is 67.75mm.

Did you measure the bore yourself?

to I breakstuff. yes I mic it. this motor was designed by poloris as a race engine. bore reads 65.5 exact. maybe someone that is in racing might know someone that has some.

to I break stuff. yes I mic it 6.5 this is a special race engine that poloris made in that year. maybe someone that races sleds might know someone who has some extras.

I know but it is a special racing motor poloris put out in that year. poloris themselves don't make the pistons anymore. one piston place said that they could make them if I bought 10 at at 200 a piece. iam thinking to bore it out to 66mm and forget about finding the other. do you know if I boreed it out would I have to get a different head???
thanks for helping!!!

Could always slap a 550 set up on the top if you cant find the slugs u need. Then obviously u have to clutch and jet for a 550.
