Mookie's new ride

1 Attachment(s)
After the group ride Mookie was bitching about how his vintage iron wasn't allowing him to be as ultra aggressive as he had hoped to be. This was all I needed to hear to set me off on an internet binge looking for sleds since I haven't had much reason to do so this winter. As luck would have it somebody fairly local had an 09 600 144 with Mookie's name on it so Rubi and I headed to Morris and picked it up.

Needs a new front bumper but other than that it was in pretty decent shape for the price.

nice trailer dude

DirtylilWolfess 02-22-2015 02:31 PM

Nice!! I'm also a fan of those POS red arctic cat kit trailers. Hauled bikes to many many races on one.

Powersledder 02-23-2015 10:13 AM

Nice, it's even a Pro! Now Mookie can Pro out of anything just as good as Rubi.

The Gerbil 02-23-2015 12:18 PM

It's actually just a standard 144 IQ. We can't give Mookie the super fancy sleds right away or he'll never learn any skills.

Powersledder 02-23-2015 01:07 PM

But the sticker says Pro. That's gotta be good for like 30HP and 5000 boonditcher skill points.

Dammit, I hope like hell that Rubi's got some red oak handy!

FrankieJames7 02-24-2015 12:00 PM

is the bent front bumper why the panels aren't lining up?

Mookie Brown 02-25-2015 12:44 AM

Fuckin'A. DCUBA is no better than Obama. They think they know what you want and then they just charge some sort of tax to make sure you get it. The Boonditcher Pro has been more of a squatter than a roomate at Mookie's place for the last year. On top of that, DCUBA's been running' Mookie's single place trailer for the last 25,000 miles, and all Mookie's got to show for it is a thumb that barely works any more and a sled that constantly gets stuck. The important thing here is that Gerbil and Rubi love mandates. And, like a typical American, I'll probably just start believing I need a 09 sled and pay the tax becaue Bono or Oprah said I need it.

Yup, it is pushing down quite a bit on the plastic right now. After a new bumper gets put on things should line up pretty well.

The sled doesn't just run off into the woods and get stuck by itself you know.

Rubi 02-26-2015 05:21 PM

What are you blathering about?

Gerbil has no problem selling the sled to someone cool if you douche out and refuse to buy it.

Don't really know what this means, but I'd say that not riding your sled is nobodies fault but your own.

I seem to remember rescuing a trailer that had severely gone beyond its useful life due to some dipshit making a trailer box out of OSB. Your Mom was threatening to have someone come and pick it up and drop it in the dump if it wasn't removed from her yard IMMEDIATELY! No Mookie around, so Gerbil and I performed a valuable service removing the worthless, rotten OSB, and saving the trailer frame. Since that time, Gerbil and Baller have put more money into keeping that trailer roadworthy than the original price.

Concerning thumbs, only a pair of idiots could cut a thumb nearly off on a gay wineglass and then subsequently rip it completely off on a skipole (or rather his boyfriend's pole as I suspect.)

By the way, just as guns don't kill people, people kill people. Sleds don't get stuck, the lameass riders on them get stuck.

I don't really know what to say to this. I like mandates?? WTF! There's some kind of social mandate that says I have to get out of bed every morning. I absolutely hate that mandate. Who comes up with stuff like this?

The only reason Gerbil got the new sled is that you're whining like a little bitch about how you're too lame to ride the old sled. I don't think the new one will solve this problem, but it could help. Probably you'll be whining about adding a T-Swizzle skid because the new one is still too hard to carve and cross-slope.

Only a cityass would listen to Bono and Oprah. I basically refuse to acknowledge that those two exist.

Powersledder 02-27-2015 10:13 AM

I think Mookie missed the space bar, it would make more sense if that read "Gerbil and Rubi love man dates". I think that also explains the Bono and Oprah references.

Mookie Brown 02-27-2015 02:19 PM

Ha! - good one Power! In fact, they are leaving on their annual, month long man date starting tomorrow. I kind of wish I could go on their man date.

FrankieJames7 02-27-2015 02:25 PM

hahaha, what does mookie ride right now
