Winter storm targets Twin Cities; as much as 12" possible?
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for Saturday, with the "axis of heaviest snow" running through the Twin Cities.

The season's first winter storm could drop as much as 12 inches of snow across the Twin Cities area on Saturday, forecasters said Friday.

The Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for Saturday for much of southern Minnesota -- from Worthington in the southwest up through the Twin Cities area and into northwestern Wisconsin.

The watch area could see 5 to 8 inches of snow, the Weather Service said, with the "axis of heaviest snow" running right through the Twin Cities. But that could change depending on the storm track.

Meteorologist Paul Douglas said Friday afternoon that the latest computer models showed 8 to 12 inches of snow falling across much of the metro area on Saturday. He said the rain-snow boundary was likely to be right over St. Paul, meaning higher snow amounts in the west metro and less to the east.

For Friday, the Twin Cities area is likely to see just rain later in the day, with a high of 42 degrees. The rain will turn to snow overnight, with a low of about 33. For Saturday, the forecast is for snow with a high of 37.

A little oil dripping out the exhaust canister is normal for off season.

It's leaking from between the Y pipe and the pipe? Get it good and hot and it'll stop. Remember, I just put that pipe back on. It didn't leak before, so I think that ring just needs to get hot again to seat itself.

Rubi - you DCUBA whiners always say that whenever the snow falls in the big city, but not there. I happen to like snow at my house too! I think you've got snow envy. Of course, it won't matter much since highs are headed into the 40's again next week and the ground is still warm.

What do you do with snow in The Cities? Ski down the freeway? Ride braapers in Loring Park?

You'll have to fill me in on what you decided to do to set up that Ultra.

Hey, they aren't backing down at all on this forecast. Now it's a Winter Storm Warning!

Remember, if there aren't pictures it didn't happen. (Wait, I don't think I really ascribe to that rule at all?)

07:30 and it's 'nuking' outside. Ok, really it's just snowing steadily, but compared to 68 degrees and bright sun on Monday, relatively speaking, it's nuking. Probably 2" in the grass and the blacktopped surfaces are just starting to see snow stick. I suppose I'll try to take a picture later if I can find the camera.

Anyone done knock down before? I've got a good texture gun and I've done that a few times with increasing success. I would have to go get a plexiglass tool, but I'm mainly wondering how long you need to wait after you shoot your load on the wall before knocking it down?

Last coat of mud is on - and as much as I suck, I'm pretty happy with this result. I got a little professional help about a week ago, so he righted a couple of my wrongs. Added the last coat of mud today.

Here's a few pictures of what's going on in Mookieland today:

Dear Mookie,

Concerning the pictures you posted (especially the first), I'd like to pose a question. That question is, "What the fuck does that have to do with anything!?!" There is something horribly wrong with the pictures you posted.

1 - This picture has no snow. While you are so focused on the size of your loads, you forget that the rest of the Nutz don't really give a fuck that you plaster with your jizz. Are you going to start a dick measuring contest next?

2 - This one has only a little snow showing, but it's not even the focus of the picture. Again, what the fuck Mookie? This isn't a renovation site.

3 - This might just be the worst one! Here is full evidence of snow AND, as Gerbil pointed out, a two stall unattached garage! There is snow, and a handy place for a braaper to live, but there is NO BRAAPER! Not only that, but there's untouched snow everywhere. Not a single braaper track. Hell, first big fall of the year and you didn't even rage around in it or even make a snow angel, or a snowman, or instigate a snowball fight. You just stood inside your jizz filled garage and looked at it like a pussy.

In extra notice of shame, I have a small braaper and no garage, this trumps the fuck out of no braaper and a huge garage. In light of this, I deem you a pussy, beings as you have a full time job, and years of time to get a braaper, even having a few deals spoon fed to you. I scrimped for about a year and a half, packing in some very very long hours to get mine, and I don't even have reliable work!

Cuzzi notes: Dear Mookie, you might have snow, but you don't even have a sled, pussy.
