Default Exhaust Gasket

Will not having a exhaust gasket on the silencer side of the 1 pipe cause any problems? (incorrect back pressure) It fits fairly snug but not completely tight.

Thanks

Yes, it needs a tight seal.

Any leakage of hot gasses can actually cut into the cylinder outlet.

Shit yeah! Maybe I'll be the first to go? I tore most of the lugs off my track on the Group Ride last year. Might as well tear off the rest in early December so I can have a new one on by Rockland Invasion 2013!
