Default 2004 Haulmark 4 place enclosed trailer FS

I just bought this trailer a few months ago and I'd like a smaller trailer. Ideally I'd like to trade for a 2-3 place inline enclosed trailer, also willing to sell outright. Any Slednutz member that is interested needs to shoot me a pm and I'll give you a Slednutz price. Price as-is $5000 or best offer, I'd prefer to trade for smaller enclosed though.

8.5' wide 25' long with 5' V-nose. 2 fuel doors and 1 side door. Front and rear ramp doors for drive on/off loading. 3500# axles with electric brakes with finished interior.

It's that time again, back up for sale. I'd really prefer trade for a 2-3 place inline trailer, but cash is king.

Price is flexible and I'd give a hell of a deal to any Slednutz member that is interested.

Mud, do you have the ability to seal coat the underneath of a trailer? Not the skill, but the shop set up? I really don't feel like crawling underneath on my back for hours to get the job done.

How heavy is that trailer?

Would it be to heavy for an F150?

I checked and it is rated at 7600lbs.

I've undercoated trailers if that's what you mean? I use a rubberized 3m undercoating.

I believe the trailer itself weighs 3600-3700 lbs. Add even 3 sleds and gear to the mix and your F150 will struggle Rock. Hell I lost my tranny last winter pulling 4 sleds/guys/gear to the Snowies and it's a 7.3L Powerstroke diesel.

If my wimpy lil 239 CI V6 can pull two wheelers down the highway a 5.4 liter V8 pumping out almost twice the HP shouldn't have a problem. If you're worried just get an external tranny cooler.

Harry's jealous ass has always wished for my shit to blow up. As he gets older and more mature he'll realize how smart he was about it. It'll turn around on him.

I got an email asking if it has brakes, didn't realize I didn't put that in description lol. Both axles have 12"x2" brakes and tires are only 2 years old.

I watched a video last night where an Ecoboost half ton pulled an 11,300 Lb.trailer around a Nascar track for 24 hours. They ran it full throttle the whole way and averaged 83 MPH for 24 hours. A 5.4 should be able to pull a little 3,600 lb. trailer.... unless you fill it full of Yammis!

Rock,

I've pulled a 27 ft. United with a 5.4, the pickup I had before the Avalanche, full of my furniture. It wasn't a speedy trip.

One big thing with these high trailers one must remember it isn't the weight that you're pulling, once that is rolling that will continue rolling until you factor in the wind resistance of a high trailer, that is where you need the ponies.

Last year when I had the all aluminum 1500 lb. trailer that was a workout for the Avalanche because of the height.

Exactly. The over the axle trailers are good but they are like towing a brick. Mine is the shape of a clam shell so I think it is worse than Rich's vnose... but it all wind resistance. Once you get to elevation it is a whole new ball game because the little V-8s just scream trying to get up hills that aren't really an issue here. I remember in Wyoming a few years ago in Jay's truck and going over the pass at 5000 RPMs just trying to make it with my enclosed and one in the bed.

I hear ya about the wind resistance. I got a two place that has ramps on the front, and my pickup barely pulls that. Takes 10 hours to get across that windy wasteland known as North Dakota.

So far I am pretty happy with the Ecoboost. Have not pulled my trailer loaded yet though. I am not anticipating a problem based on the research I did before buying it. 365 HP and 420 foot pounds of torque. Rated for 11,000 lbs towing capacity.

I want that F150 w/ eco-boost so fucking bad!

Ford really put up a bad ass truck.

I have been trying to talk the wife into letting me buy one.

I told her she can have the 2002 F150 but she hates getting into it and parking it.
