The blown up thumpers that old are usually money pits. That being said, you can always flip them and get parts cheaply if you have a little patience. Shouldn't be a problem for you 'tall! Take pics of the carnage and rebuild!!!
will take a lot of hours but ill get it assembled at some point this summer
valves arent too bad, mostly just covered in carbon... but ill probably get it inspected/decked
used bottom end that i hope to use Crank feels super smooth n tight. current piston was seized so ill have to make sure it wasnt due to oil pump failure.
Used cylinder/piston i just orderded for $150 from a guy that upgraded his to the 290 kit.
Something looks funky on the top of that piston. Don't quote me though. I haven't rebuilt a 4-stroke yet. But that shiny ring around the top makes me question the condition of the machine that it came from?
