Shit, for the price of 4 nights of lodging there I could go to the UP, drink myself into oblivion, pay for gas, AND buy parts for my sled.

Looks like it's gonna be another year I still won't be able to go. Hopefully next year I'll have a real person job and another sled.

...and come back home still never having ridden in the mountains.

I am not lobbying for this place. It is just that there is very limited fuel options in the Snowies. I personally would prefer to go somewhere else before I trailer each day to ride. The Snowies are the closest mountains to Illinois. I think Cooke and Tog are like another 250-300 miles further which equates to additional time and money also.

True, I am not opposed to spending the extra money for it... just that 105/night PP seemed a little steep.

I don't disagree. I am not even sure where this place is in relation to the good riding areas. I know it is at lower elevation on the west side of the range. If it is a haul to the good areas, it defeats the purpose anyway. May as well just stay in Albany.

Lots to talk about next weekend. Lets try and iron out a location (and possibly dates) by the end of this month. I'll do my research and come up with a list of options with pros and cons.

The Snowies trip? The cabins we're staying in are at 10,200 feet.

So the Snowies are it then? I'll have to get closer to date before I can commit to any rides outside of home area or Uintas(Utah).

You need to get one last ride in while you can. This trip is going to be cheap with all the people going. I say you make this one trip happen. Andy's figures were $450 or so. That is $45 a week for the next 10 weeks. STOP EATING CHEESEBURGERS.

$100 a month and you're in. I don't care what you do to save it... just do it.

Go get under Andy's desk and suck him off, stand on the corner in Boy's Town, sell some crap.

YOU NEED TO GO!
