Default compression #s...time for rings?

At the start of last leason my fuji 500 had 135 compression in both of its cylinders.

I put on roughly 400 miles maybe last year, 500 at the most....

I went and tested compression last night and its at 124 & 124. So im debating ordering new rings and gasket kit.

any recommendations? maybe replace piston and needle bearing too?

Warm or cold test?

I would not worry about the compression unless it was starting hard or running poorly.

poor some oil in each hole then try it again!! you wanted 135 you'll get it.

with the crappy cheap gauges you get what they say is just a diagnostic tool. if the sled isnt running right and you test both cylinders its not the numbers themselves i look at, its are they the same, if one is very low then you know to go to that cylinder. if they are both the same but maybe lower than you like, that when you pull the exhaust and look at the cylinder, piston, and rings.
