Default 93 polaris 650 rxl exhaust ??

Hi, my first post here and any help you people offer would be apppreciated.
I need to get an exhaust for 93 650 rxl, have been unsuccessful at the dealerships so far. There are many on ebay that look doable, but does anyone know what other models if any would fit?
If I have to go to aftermarket, what adjustments have to be made with the fuel injection?
Last alternative is to weld the old pipe I have now, any body have success with that. Thanks again.

If you go triple pipes you'd need a prom chip for the ecu. If you can swing it that's the way to go. It adds an amazing 20 hp with triple pipes. Aaen still makes chips for the rxl, pm madcow for a price.
Where is yours broke/cracked?

Hey bones, welcome aboard.

Not sure where in NY you are located, but here is a link to a used sled parts warehouse that I have had luck with in the past finding lots of bits and bobs for my old dawgs.

If it's not driveable, they can ship to you as well.

According to Polaris' parts catalog, the '93 RXL exhaust pipe is unique to that year only.

Guys thanks for the replies, let me answer some of your thoughts.
First the pipe is "rusted" very close to the seam, right where it turns to the rear towards the silencer can. Im afraid once i start welding the whole thing is gonna break apart.
I live in the Orange County area of NY but recently purchased a cabin in Northville, hoping to get some sledding in.
I'm wondering if the sled is worth the investment of pipes and chip with parts being so unavailable, I'm thinking of selling it and just start with a fresh sled.
I think the exhaust also is used in newer sleds but has been superseded with the addition of -029 added to old p/n.
I contacted the sled yard via email and gonna wait for his answer if he has the part.
Thanks again, any more info glad to hear it.

Did some more searching on that part number. Polaris parts usage is screwed up. I searched all RXL's from '93-97 and found that same part number used.
Here is one on Ebay right now.

Thanks Ace, good pickup on that, Im watching it, now hopefully I can win it.
BTW-I called that sled shed for used parts, they have the part but want $100, I think thats a little pricey for a used rusty muffler. New retail is $138.00 at one of the OEM discounters, but the problem is no one has it. In my dealings with salvage yards they usually get like 33% of retail.Just FYI.

Salvage yards are expensive, I stay away from them. There are too many sources on the net where you can find cheaper, especially the Indy wedge stuff. The market is overflowing with parts for them. Ebay is the best place to find stuff.
I parted out my '93 Xlt and sold most of the stuff at swap meets I went to.
Good thing, because the items I listed on Ebay I didn't get much for.
Ended up pulling $1400 out of it and still have stuff left.

Well that was good money, well at least I know what to do with sled when its shot. My B-I-L sold it to me for $1400.00 so anywhere near that and i'm happy. It's better than selling the sled as a whole! I'd be lucky to get $750.00

if you bought a new set of triple pipes, computer chip, clutching, and then rode it for a year and then sold it. you would have a hard time getting your money out of it.

I would repair the pipe you have. if you can weld, cut out the bad and simply weld in new.
in the summer talk to dealers in mn. the sleds here are pretty cheap. cheaper than out east anyhow. you can get brand new sleds around here starting at 5500. for the 6500 mark you can get brand new 08 fst and 700 switchbacks.
