Default FOR SALE: Polaris VES 600 motor

The motor is from a 2003 Pro-X. I bought it blown up last winter because I needed some parts. Turned out I didn't need the parts so I'm rebuilding and selling the motor. I had the crank checked for true and phase, and the bearings were inspected. I got remanufactured cylinders, new SPI pistons, and a Winderosa gasket/seal kit. I got the motor half done today, so it will be all ready in a day or two depending on how long I struggle getting the recoil spring rewound.

Eckhoff's machine shop in New London, MN checked the crank and supplied the top end parts. My receipt is for $670. I'd like to get $1,070 for the motor. I think that's more than fair because many used VES 600's without a new top end are going for $900 to $1200 on eBay and Craigslist.

I won't ship the motor, but I could do some driving in Minnesota if someone wants it here. Also I could deliver it anywhere on I-94 between MN and Billings Montana, and from Billings to Bozeman to West Yellowstone to the Rexburg/ Idaho Falls area in Idaho.

I just need to get a gasket for the waterpump cover, install the oil pump, and pick up a few bolts for the reedcages that got lost. Other than that, it's ready to go.

PM me for details. I'm on this site most days.

Sold it to some kid up in Perham, MN. I just sold my Dragon the day before to some guy from Sebeka. Everyone is heading south to buy my stuff. I'm going to advertise some more. Anyone need a cheap track, or a used pair of tires off a '99 F150?

Mines a 121. I wouldn't mind a 136" track either. Someone on Craigslist has a nice skid from an Edge SKS for sale. If I made the boonditcher into a 136", maybe I wouldn't feel the need to have a mountain sled??

I'm pussing out. I'm kind of thinking of a Raw IQ 600 144" that would be my all-around, UP/Out West sled. Maybe even my at home sled if the boonditcher pisses me off anymore. Don't worry though, I'm still shopping for an 800 155". If people would get real on used prices, I'd jump on that. Trouble is used prices are so high, you might as well pay $100 more and the sales tax to get a brand new sled with a warranty.

Rubi is being a giant vag on the acquisition of a new sled, I give him all kinds of good leads every day and he does dick. I am beginning to think he is starting a quilting club with Mookie.

Actually I think Mookie's latest new hobby is scrap-booking using Creative Memories brand products. Rubi will most definitely love this because it involves pictures, creativity, and words all in one handy little book that he can show off as he goes.
