I LOVE sidehilling. Everyone else looks up and I look across. We'll rip shit up in Tog.
Every try to carve or sidehill with one hand?
I've sidehilled with one hand but only carved for a few seconds with one hand lol. I'm starting to learn that sidehilling is a very important skill to get to killer riding spots. I'll be practicing bigtime when we get to tog in Jan, not too many big steep hills around here to practice on.

I've got to get to work on the next chapter of The Western Adventure: Deepass Snow and GotMud Arrive. Then the photos and video can speak to "Mudz skillz." Good'ole Mud gotz no problemz getting around in the mountainz.
Actually my photos and video of Mud's trip are kind of sparse. We were just having too damn much fun riding to stop! I hope Mud has some killer footage to add.

If memory serves there is some fantastic documentation of a tree well that tried to eat him and your new RMK.
LMAO that fuckin treewell welcomed me out west good and proper lol. I've always heard how they can suck people in, I didn't think I'd find out first hand on my first trip west lol.

I know this is an old thread.
I see the sidehill thing and all here spotted with various mentions of trip out west.
It's the Out West part why I'm talking with you guys on here now.
You guys REALLY need to do a Boise area trip.
I'll show you around some areas that you will absolutely love riding in as well as some that you will absolutely curse my name for even taking you into (scaring the absolute shit out of you)

That's going to be a tough sell because DCUBA rides the closest to Boise of anyone that goes west, and we're still 5 or 6 hours from where you ride. People that ride IP/West Yellowstone are probably 6 or so, Tog or Cooke are 7, and most on Nutz ride the Snowies which have to be 11 hours from Boise. It would be cool to have a local guide, but I don't know if anyone is going to add half a day more driving onto an already long drive to get it?
Maybe some day we'll come out and ride with you. We're usually out for five weeks or so, so the drive isn't as big a deal as the guys who have 5 days for their whole trip. Gerbil wants to beat the crap out of a guy from Nampa who screwed him on a sled deal, so that's just one more reason to head further west.
I don't know? Gerbil might need some backup. Stringbean's buddy, Porkchop, is a hefty guy. He really knows how to massacre a toilet too. We let him use our dueler while Stringbean was outside lying to Gerbil and we couldn't smell the residual dogpiss on our carpet for days because Porkchop stunk it up so bad!

Shit 5 weeks! Crap you guys need to make a SEVERAL stop road trip to like every mountain spot you ever wanted to see.
I've ridden to the top of mount saint helens and looked down into the crater below. Stuff like that.
Mt. Hood area,
Steamboat, CO at Rabbit Ears pass is just a MUST DO. It was big high altitude dry powder awesome.
You absolutely HAVE to ride mount Batcholer area in Bend, Or.
You are so close to the most giant mountain peaks you've ever sean, it's just sick. You can go to like 6 of them in a day on the sleds.
That would be the trip you talked about until you died.
Stop here for couple days, kick the shit out of some one, go ride, it's a beautiful day.
