Default Cadillac ride on 3-15-08

Back in late December my 5 yr old Shane and I planned a trip to Cadillac for a day. He looked forward to it for about 2 weeks til the time came. We trailered all the way up to Cadillac and the sled wouldn't start. He's been asking me ever since when he gets to go back up north to ride.
Well with the winter slowly coming to an end I've gotta get him up there or I'll hear it all summer lol. I've got ridable snow locally so I'm in no giant hurry, we should still be riding for at least a week, the way the forcast looks probably 2 weeks.
March 15 is a saturday and we'll be headed up there for what will probably be my blowout last ride of the season. We'll be headed up there saturday morning and headed home when done riding saturday afternoon. I don't plan to play offtrail as it's kinda hard to with Shane in front of me. It'll be all trail riding and I'm sure we'll play on the hill climb behind caberfae. Anyone that wants to meet up for 1 last blast?

I'd love to but I can't justify a 5.5 hour drive for a day.

Hey Mud, I went skiing up at Caberfae last winter. That place is killer! They've got a few true double black diamond runs. How far from the skihill is the hillclimb area for braapers?

About 1 mile on the trail. Probably pretty close in a straight line though. There is some nice off trail riding at the top of the hill climb too.
