Default help on m-10 pre load

hi.i saw your posts on m10 and was real surprised when you said to do other adjustments 1st an then the FRA? ,that surprised me, anyhoo being a newbie i did the fra an went too do the pre load there didnt seem to be anywhere at top of spring to adjust this on rear shock? My spanner wrench couldnt find anywhere to lock on unlike the cross over tube which is easy,,at a loss here..thanx in advance an feel free to post this if you want...mike in mass

I haven't a clue on the M10 ad I have no experience at all with it. There are a couple members here that either used or currently run M10s and I'm sure they'll chime in and give some direction.
