Just make sure you don't catch anything from her. I have heard the dikes up there carry some nasty pickle dick lumpy bumpy herpes strands that have mutated.

That is really a nice setup, the builder of those 189's was nice enough to let us try one out earlier this year and everyone loved them. Its just the way the industry is going.

They must really absorb the bumps... right?

I was thinking about taking a class too, but now it would be for sure if I could try that 189.

That was Gerbil. I'm pretty sure. I just learned how to hang on just a little bit better this year!

So...we did some other shit. Big Bear(Beran) found himself a culvert and some other unexpected ditches...

...I can't remember what the hell we did after that damn tree plowing adventure.

Gerbil's firecrotch sled took a dump on the side of the trail, pretending that it didn't have any gas. We diagnosed for a while, got it to go a couple hundred yards, diagnosed some more, and finally discovered that his fuel pickup line had fallen or broken off. IBS demanded a 10" stick, and the hotcrotch was towed straight to the Peppermill shop.

...so finally we all called it a day and went back to the houses to prep for Henry's, Poser's arrival, and a quick wrench-fest at the Peppermill's sweetassed shop.

Henry's was delicious, but we stood around for 15-20 minutes before we even got to sit down. I didn't dominate the food like I did last year, but it finally knocked the rest of my hangover out!

I didn't plan shit out for the wrenching party very well. DCUBA hauled my ass straight from Henry's to the shop since Gerbil's hotcrotch sled was already there. I should've had them bring me back to the house to get the Wolfsled first, but I was too retarded to think of that. Rock made sure to point that out! I might've had a couple shots before leaving for Henry's too. Ah well. Mud resolved the issue, and with the help of IBS, we got all my shit to the shop with no disasters.

I figured that riding a sled while trying to sit on a (ski) "wing" would cause some some sort of carnage.

Willie showed up at some point too, and I've gotta point out that he was wearing a chopped halfshirt!

I got my wings changed out (thanks for helping dudes), Gerbs resolved his issues, Powersledder added 12 wheels to his sled. Ratstang's clutch was not immediately fixable, Bryan changed his suspension, and Big Bear-an decided to lower his sled like one of those Chicago-low-rider-shit-I-can't-turn-without-rubbing-my-tires-on-the-underside-of-my-hood-city rigs.

^^^My hifax was completely worn through where I had added those extra idlers, I figured with the added wheels and snow depth I'd be able to make it through the weekend. It worked, but now I've got new hifax on order.

And at least my track didn't freeze to my hifax!

Like some other charming individuals did. which in fact I'm glad they did because after a failed rescue mission is when i lost my brakes. better then, than to be hauling ass.

Yea...I'm not remembering everything (HA! No wonder!)

Day 1 total was 38 miles for me.

Willie? Just which huge boulder are you talking about? I remember bouncing off some rocks here and there, but none of them counted as boulders in my book.

Second day's ride started out at about 10:29 or so, I was kinda curious to see how my wings were going to track. On the short ride to the trail, I was pretty impressed. We raged down one dead end trail, and I promptly froze or melted my hyfax to my track. I've never had this happen before. Heck, we were all kinda bewildered as to why my sled just wouldn't go. Gerbil decided that my brakes were frozen, so we dicked around with them for a while and sent someone for that crazy triple-riding tool-hauling mofo.

I still need to bleed them.

About the time he showed up, I noticed that the track was stuck as shit to my hyfax. It shouldn't have done that. We had plenty of snow. Some prying fixed that good as new nearly, and we hauled off. Then Willie nearly shoved his sled into the back of Gerb's firecrotch. His brakes were totally gone. We parted ways so he could get shit fixed.

The rest of the crew had headed off to hit some powerlines while my shit was broken.

So here's my pictures from the '12 Yoop Invasion. I think this is being posted in a timely fashion... just in time to build stoke for '13! The first photo group is of Wolfie. She needs a big dose of stoke because she seems to think just because the dikes of Grand Forks have dick for snow that the Mass City Mountains are bare too. I think NOT, due to recent developments.

Climbing something:

Result of the first picture:

Taking some white stuff to the face:

Sick carve:

Pulling Rubi's favorite maneuver:

Another faceshot:

Summitting some local ridge:

Gerbil doesn't need encouragement like Wolfie does. He'll be there this year, as will I. He may need to build stoke to get his sled modded out for the ride though.

Same ridge as Wolfie's first picture:

Similar result:

Gerbil does a Rubi impression:

I'm calling this a whip:

Nice carve... possibly right-foot-backward Rassmussen style:

Some generic ultra-aggressive shit:

Hopefully that little play area will still be untouched this year. Lot of rocks in there though...

I'm up here now and the shit is deep compared to last weekend. I heard Rockland got 33 inches since last Thursday and there is another storm predicted for next week. I hear Toivola is awesome.

Dropping down from a summit:
