I follow a procedure close to what's described in the link on the second page. Just pay special attention to warming up the engine at all times with the forged pistons. Use special care during breakin.
First startup on the stand, I use extra oil and let it idle until it's operating temperature. Then I start doing some steady pulls up to half throttle. When the motor is getting close to too hot, I'll do about two to three pulls up to 3/4 throttle. Then I let the motor completely cool down. Second start on the stand, I warm it up and this time it will get a few pulls up to full throttle holding it pinned for a second or so. Then I let it cool down again, retorque the head, and then go ride it with plenty of short full throttle bursts. (Up to 5 seconds.) No pinning it across a 5 mile lake yet.
