Yeah I'm getting the idea this isn't going to be a year for climbing. They're having slopes as low as 15 degrees sliding in UT.

Just my luck, got a climber with nothing to climb.

Seriously Cuzz, I think we'll be fine and have a blast. Just ride smart and avoid the dragons.

Just let's stick to Rabbit Ears and not even mess with Vail. We can go there one day just to check it out if you want but I am not going to do any climbing even in the areas we normally frequented. You'll see what I mean. It will be a fun trip. We just have to be smart about it.

Good call Vert,
Might also want to add that it's getting time to look at refresher classes for avi safety.
I need to get my wife in particular into another one this year.

This deserves a bump to the top.
It's that season again.

Took one of Duffy's classes on Monday night in Bismarck, it was worth the drive and the $50 very educational. 4 of the 5 guys in my group that usually goes west took it, the 5th guy had already taken it and couldn't make the 200 mile drive for it. If anyone has the opportunity to take the class and plans a trip west, I recommend it!

I've taken several and so has my wife.
I've been part on a few S&Rs,
Was a Ranger in the Army.
Of course we are geared up properly.
I carry a 40 pound pack.

I'm confident that I can keep her in good areas and also get her out in time should the worst occur.
I'm also confident that she will find my corpse in time to collect the life insurance.
I'm OK with this.

This warrants bringing up again for the beginning of the season
