Does it have DET? Maybe a bad knock sensor retarding the timing. I would think that would throw a CEL though. Disconnect the knock sensor and see how it does. Hell disconnect something important and put it into loop mode and see how it does. If its still fucked up its mechanical, if it smooths out its ignition/sensor related.

So I just took it for a rip with the only change being I unplugged the tether. It seemed to run substantially better with no cutting out and much smoother throttle response so I plugged the tether back in and it continued to run pretty well. The temp is about 10-12 degrees cooler today and not as humid but I have a hard time believing just those weather conditions caused the issues I was having yesterday unless I have an exposed wire somewhere that is getting wet and causing a short.

It is still an intermittent issue that has gotten a little better but still exists. I have had it on the digital wrench at the shop here as well and they found nothing with that but did tighten the throttle cable and put in a new fuel filter. The new filter seemed to help out some but the problem still exists even though it is less frequent.
