Question IQr Vs RMK

Since blowing up the RMK i'm weighing my options....

Looks like I can only get between 1K-1.5k for the IQr roller with or without extra parts. I'd really like to get a new Indy and basically copy Rubi by stretching it to a 136 or 144 but just don't have the cash reserves. So, do I sell off the IQr and all the parts, rebuild the 600RMK and try to be happy with it? Or put a 660 in the RMK? Or take all of the known good parts off of the 600RMK into the IQr? (and/or 660 the IQr?)

(Just another one of my ramblings)

There should be a 3rd option. Sell both and get an IQ RMK?

Sell the IQTrencher, keep the RMK and wait for someone to bury their sled into a tree and buy their engine. It's bound to happen often, we have well over a foot of snow here in IL and people be 'tarded.

I like the 660 RMK option.
It will be better for a Boise trip.....

I have a better idea. How about you stop "tinkering" with your sleds. Sell them both, actually part them out and buy something you havent touched.

I'm with Mud on this one, an IQ rmk is a good all around sled and if you get 09 or newer you can bump up to fuel injection which would save you all kinds of fucking around.

I think you missed the part about fuel injection, so you didn't tinker and blow it up. How many miles did you make it last weekend? 56?

That was an edge. I've been well into the triple digits for mileage before ever blowing up an IQ.

Did you see the piston crown picture? There was enough fuel going through that engine to feed 3 summits. This was a bad bearing issue.
