Default I lose

Well damnit. Rubi and Gerbil rufied my Coors Light and now I have a sled. Worse yet, it isn't a Yami. I am positive it will either blast through the back of my garage on its own, or light all of Ramsey County on fire or maybe it will give me an STD. It was Rubi's after all.

Ok, maybe I am being a bit too pessimistic, but I didn't get mile 1 on that damn thing as its owner without getting stuck. My neighbor (Mack, for those who have met him), has a solid kicker in his yard and I figured I'd nail some epic air while I went over to hassle him about stopping over. So I lined up and pinched it. I took a sold foot of air and had a accidental throttle squeeze to stuck. Old Mack had to come outside to help me get unstuck and he wasn't too happy about that.

Anyway, I lose. Now I have a constant hassle on my hands!

Good choice of line, and a solid big-drop. The bomb hole upon landing was epic! You could see the ultra-deep in Mack's yard completely floated the sled upon landing, and then you could see the secondary bounce marks. What happened then wasn't as impressive... the attempt to cross the 2 1/2 foot deep walkway to the front door was WEAK. After crossing the gap, the stuck was quick, deep, and brutal. Looks like you two shoveled 1 1/2 bellydumps full of snow to get it out. Not that DCUBA disapproves of getting stuck or anything.

Temperature from Mookie's house to somewhere NW of Maple Grove: +5 F.
Temperature in the known heat island of Alexandria: -9 F. So, Mookie, the Twin Cities definitely isn't consistently warmer than Douglas County? Gerbil is being conservative when he says it's 6 degrees warmer down there.

Plus it looks like a gallon of arctic blue was thrown in on the deal so Mookie really came out smelling like a rose.

I don't quite know what to say? Is this a joke? Mookie really bought a snowmobile of his own? Do the hand warmers work?

Stuck on the flat?
Ya, I'll make the 5 hour drive next year as long as you are there too.
The entertainment value should be worth the miles of trail to get to the actual riding.
