Red face I hit a concrete wall today under a snowbank....

That's what I get for riding around home. No mechanical damage to skis or steering. No damage to the hood either, but I busted the bumper loose and cracked the belly pan slightly. Needs to be taken all apart after winter and repaired properly.

Fortunately I was only going about 5 mph

You can bet your ass I will ride tomorrow

You obviously don't own an XP.

Good thing you're OK though.

Polaris makes 5 different keys. Kinda shitty but if someone owned all 5 keys they could steal any polaris they wanted, scary shit isn't it? If the sled was bought new you should have gotten a spare key as well, not plastic wrapped just a steel key.

Did all this happen when you were drinking and sledding? I'm an ass, I just had to say that. Hopefully things turn out better for you.

Exclamation

I found the key right on the front sidewalk where I thought it may be:D......ohh and all you have to do is disconnect the ignition switch and you could steal any Polaris out there, or just about any sled I think if you can get to the back of the ignition switch. Hows that for scary shit?

Or just open the hood and take either wire off the switch and off you go.

My 76 TX shared a key with our riding lawn tractor.

Ski-Don'ts have DESS starting in the late 90's - it's a digitally encoded chip that transmits 8 bytes of data down a single wire via the post.
I've been trying to crack it for a while now, I even have the programming software for BRP (BUDs). I need a dongle.
