why dont we make a movie like thunderstruck? except with a redneck, flatland twist. isntead of watching a guy climb a shoot at 70 mph we have someone people flying over driveways. some ditch banging clips of racing traffic.
ripperd has a helmet cam and I am sure we can find one or two more. take some footage from a couple speed runs and then while trail riding if we find a good rolling hill or off trail spot just stop and get a shot of everyone flying over a hill or playing in the powder or hitting a tree. ok maybe not stage a tree hit but why dont we do that. we dont even have to be all together at the same time. from the group ride you can get a lot of footage, but the nice thing is several people can send clips to the "editor" and he can make one movie with them. heck I have 3 minutes of great lawn mower pulls that I can email to someone to put on a dvd or in the movie. not sled related but a fun side clip.
each rider can have a little segment along with the general video like thunderstruck. like you can have some footage and a little talking action from riley of his speed sled doing a couple runs and tell a little about the sled and what hes done to it to make it fast, and then have some rmk ridng footage as well. I think zrxpilot would have a good segment of throwing ice with trail studs on the shaved ice track and then his "440" project sled. heck it seems almost half of us would have some race footage and trail footage for a 3 minute cameo.
how dumb does this sound?
If the boner police are here I need a lawyer.

It certainly would be extreme.... But i'm in. I have a digital camcorder, hell I even have one for sale that I could just ship to anyone that wants to tape, then they ship it to the next person. It holds 30 minutes and it's small enough to mount anywhere.
Who can edit video? I don't feel like undertaking another project.

I think it would be EXTREME!!! maybe have a little bit of everything "Flatland"!! trail ridin, lake racin, ditch bangin, crashed, stupid shit that us flatlanders do!! we'll be getting a cam corder come tax time!!
If you have THREE, I like thee!!
Yeah, like when someone catches a ski in a snow covered culvert and rips it off.
Hey, I've done that! :D
Not so long ago, a deranged, ranting person's audience was limited to how many people happened to be on the same street. The Internet, however, has certainly allowed "crazy" to go global...
I have a standard digital camera that takes video, but I could never figure out a good way to mount it.
I think the last time I took "snow video" was during Riding Test Day at snowmobile school. Not very exciting stuff.
I guess we'll see what I can get this year.
I support Pistols For Pandas, because they need all the firepower they can get.
