Well after thinking about it since last year I went ahead and bought
my track extension parts.
Going from a 144 to a 159

Rail extensions and big wheel kit $290

New track 159x2 1/8 that's vented $464

Tunnel extension $115

I'll take pictures when it's done and as I go.
Now the only thing left is some port work on the motor and gearing after the new track goes on.

Still cheaper than spending $10,000 on a new sled.

Dropping 1 tooth on the top gear.

weights 10-60

Driven clutch

Slp yellow/purple

Slp mountain helix 46/34

I could care less about top speed where we ride if your going 80 mph your gonna hit a tree.
I set up for hillclimbing and boondocking.
Worked great last year just have to see how it does with a longer track, most people I've talked with think it will be good the way it is,other than dropping down the tooth on the top gear.
Won't know till it snows.

Hey, went out to take care of my horses out at my cousins place to find that he put a new windshield on my Indy - about 5 inches shorter than the orginal one, and my Indy also has a new cover that looks sweeeeet!!! I will have to take some pictures and post them. RMKer is also going to work on putting a 3" riser on my sled so I can tip it easier - Whooohoooo!!!
I need to come up with a name for my sled like Ripn' - she has Ol' Betty!! Any suggestions??

I've always been partial to Eunice

How nice that you got a new windsheild without even asking. Props on the cover too, Ugly Betty got a new coat this year too from the swap at grass drags

Post up some pics when you get them.

(I should do the same soon too with all my new bits & pieces going in this year ;))

I think ripn is the reason I named my sled last year lol. I thought rather than having my sled listed, why not a name. I ended up naming my sled 'captain', I point and he leads the way lol.

You better not let those Greenies catch you damaging those trees, there will be big trouble.

How about "Sweety Betty"

Sweet you got to love those surprises! Makes the sled look good with a small shield.

The rmk looks nice! now you just have to move the brake light so when you have to lift the back out of the snow you can grab wherever you want without the light getting in the way. A buddy of mine has a switchback and he has a led light that fits in the triangles on the tunnel.
