Default Finally snow in Colorado

The reports are calling for 5-9 inches in the mountains tonight and then another 1-3 during the day on wednesday.Wish I had my hifax in so I could go hit them hills in the fresh powder.I may just have to use Indygirls sled since she'll be working anyways.

Now I'm excited and wont be able to sleep tonight.
I'll try and tell the snow gods to send some your way!!!!!

well woke up this morning and we have about 3 inches down here in town. Our first snow of the year along the Colorado front range.
Might go fire up the sleds here some time today.Still no quit enough snow condidering the sleds have a 2 inch paddle might tear the ground up pretty good.

Well if the Snotel sites are accurated it looks like up where we ride got 9 inches last night and the base snow pack is 20-24 inches.
Looks like we might have to go check it out next weekend and do some tune up riding with the sleds.

Finally got to test the snow out 1st hand instead of going by what the "weatherman" said was up there.
Went up on Sunday and found about 12 to 18" on the ground. Good riding on the trails and some meadows, but still could use a few more feet to cover the bigger meadows - rocks, willows, logs and creeks up good. They are saying more snow all week, so we are getting there!!! Can't wait to go next weekend!!! whoot whoot!!
