Default idle issues?!

Hey all, first time poster so go easy! great site, hoping i can get some help. 04 800 summit runs great when cold starts awesome when cold, once it warms up it wont idle and when throttled up it spits thick smoke and runs like crap for a second, then its fine... untill i idle down again?!?!!? i have the carbs off and soaked them in gas and cleaned all the jets for the second time. any help out there?

I don't think on the Summit you change any of that stuff. My friend has an 04 800 Summit Highmark 151 and we only need to make clutching changes to head west with it. I am thinking it is something with whatever would control that.

Hmmmm wouldn't the ATAAC carbs have little/no effect on idle. I might be wrong, but I thought it operated and came into play off-idle at mid to upper range. I know if the sensor has been disconnected and reconnected at incorrect altitude,(other than that carbs are jetted for as baseline) it screws up mixture settings carbs are jetted for.
