Default After Christmas Ride

When my brother is up over Christmas break, we always go riding as a family. This year was not a disappointment even though the warm air and rain took 3/4 of our snow. Badwar brought his son up and my father and brother met them over in baldwin. I came up later that day due to work. We had a blast and rode around 180 miles. It was my fathers first time riding his 700 classic and he was amazed at the ride and power. Badwar as you all know rode his new 500, and was impressed with the zip of the 500. He had a slight bog on the bottom end and the clutch was squealing a little bit, but that is taken care of now. My touring got on the trails for the first time also, piloted by my brother and it was a nice sled. Not near enough power for me, but it was smooth and handled great. I believe it is jetted way to rich as it is backfiring every now and then. Stormy is definitely the fastest machine in the group. My father and I raced, and he got me by half a sled length out of the hole, but I easily one the straightline battle. The hole shot was so close I doubt I will put the gears on. I passed him real quick too. All I can say is I want my big boy springs. They have been delayed quite a bit, and doing small jumps and the bumps on the trail is just too much for the skid with me on it.

Your asking why I didnt post this earlier. Badwar's fault! He just sent me the pics today.

lol look at all the mirrors. When Harry came over to ride and he was unloading his sled Shane came running into the garage snickering and said, "He has mirrors on his sled". Glad you guys got to ride, should have came up with us last weekend.

So what the hell is wrong with mirrors?? When you ride with family, sons, nephews, and brothers we all care about each other.

Whenever I'm on a trail, I wish I had mirrors.

ha ha, you got yelled at my bedwetter!!

mirrors are standard equipment on storms, its so you can see your friends when you race without taking your eyes off the track in front of you!!

We put the mirrors on this year. They are great for watching family, friends, DNR and possible Idiots behind you.
