I have had several sets this year where the plunger is stuck in the carb, one of them was so bad the lead ball on the cable was gone, at 20 dollars an hour I am not wasting any time fighting cables, i will soak them overnight, if not loose the next day i grab the cable and pull unitl the cable breaks or the plunger comes out. I can get new ones to me for about 29 dollars so i am not going to waste a lot of time fighting them. then i use a small die grinder or dremmel and grind a hole in the plunger, remove it with an oring pick or needle nose pliers.
