Broke it already
Was out on Tuesday with it and groomed 50 miles (round trip) was three miles from home and the fan seized up and shut it down.

so now you have to "work" to get some trail riding in? the worst part is that the smooth trail is always behind you.

It's way too slow for any fun riding unless you are going to cut drifts and deep snow as it's a SWT (20"wide track X 140").
Damn thing is a tank, but rides quite nice and steers like a semi.
You need a lot of room to make it turn and it scuffs a lot turning (only has 6"carbides on it).

It has reverse and Hi/Lo too (500cc) it was riding over drifts that others were trenching through even pulling the drag and cutting into the base.

Click on my club link below and see the larger groomers that we have for the main trails.

I see they don't trust OCR with the "big iron" so they put him on that POS, gave him a bottle of single malt and pointed him one direction!!! LMAO

No, this trail is only a club trail now, unfunded by state.
I went out on my Wildcat today, rode the trail to Dryden and back home.
Saw no other sleds, but a few new tracks on my way back. Had some nice deep powder drifts along hedgerows to play in until I started having trouble making right turns.
Looked inside in case something was broken (I thought maybe the stabilizer bar).
Notice that it was sitting way low on the right front (almost dragging the ground), Damn, shock is totally compressed (frozen), now I need to get two new ones.

That is good for the small tight woods trails that we have a lot of around here.

At a max of 7mph for best results, it takes a long time to go 10 miles.

No, but my private trails are the smoothest that you will ever see anywhere.
I did have to experiment with the settings some before I took it out on the public trails, don't ya know!!

I mentioned my Cat being down because of a frozen front shock, well here's the proof.
Notice that the one with the green spring appears shorter.

New ones should be in by tomorrow and then I have to get the springs swapped over.

Went for a nice ride today (70 miles) and gotta say those new shocks are nice.

Left my house about noon and met up with Andy and his son. We gassed up at the Kwik Fill and headed south to Dryden to the VFW for lunch.
The trails were still fairly smooth and better powder coverage than the last trip I took that way.
We left the VFW and headed up the C5 to Virgil and the 5A to Cortland and Homer.
Made a short pause near Hoboue's and headed towards home.
Took the 56A back to Lake Como where we parted company and I headed home. When I got up to the intersection of Salt Rd and Hoag Ave (Summerhill State Forest), there was Park Police there doing reg. and ins. and equipment safety checks.
Both of the officers wanted to look under the hood of my Wildcat and were surprised when I told them it was a 93 and bone stock except the clutch.
Got back home just after 4PM feeling very happy and ready for more miles.
But, I stayed home and finished making dinner.
Had homemade Turkey chili and Tex-Mex garlic bread and topped off with the last of the peppermint moose.
