The 3rd Annual Jim Giles Memorial Radar Run will take place on February 8th, 2009, at 10:00am on Swan Lake in front of Mr. Roberts Restaurant in Pengilly, Minnesota.
Directions: from Duluth/Superior go west on Highway 2 to Swan River, north on State Highway 65 to mile marker 168 (about 15 miles), east on County Road 12 for about 5 miles around Swan Lake, and then turn left into Mr. Roberts Restaurant. Park at the restaurant or on the lake in the plowed parking lot for spectators and racers.

Got a good look at the track area yesterday, had Madcows and Ultra AS$$ name in Red Paint at the staging area!!! Oh John, Oh Jeff, do I hear a triple for that weekend?? Hell, Jeff you could re-unite with the brotha in Marble, and give/get some loving!!!
next weekend is the dennis kirk open, IF i have a sled by then i will ride down to rush city for the race, I would assume hyabusamod will stay up by you guys? down here it will be pretty much every other big name in the speed world! last year top speed was 175 mph? with 5-6 other sleds above 150 mph.

Don't know about Desperate Housewives but my cabin is closer to Miltona so I won't have to drive quite as far to get tanked up if you know what I mean. I have always wanted to make it to Swan Lake but that is quite a drive from Coon Rapids. It's not so bad going there it's the drive home.
