The only way I'd spend $2300 on a damn vacuum is if one of the attachments were a replica of Angelina Jolies lips. And they'd have to feel lifelike and warm lol.

I'm 99% in, I got the OK to take a day off, whenever it might be. Work has commenced to take the Turd into a Machine. Might have a new sled by then too. Only thing holding me back is whether it'll be the Turd or a new machine.

One day? If I'm gonna do this I need to schedule some time off now. I bet I can get Jay to come with us and everything will be even cheaper.

One day off, plus the weekend - 3 days. Unless you want 4?

I really don't want to drive 1000+ miles to ride two days. I was hoping to ride 3 days. Is that possible? Are you talking Togwotee or the Snowies?

If you guys are driving all the way to west side of WY, Come south and we'll ride lower end of Wyoming Range. Anywhere from Afton south is better snow right now and fewer people than Tog has. Plus at Tog, you'll pay minimum twice what it will cost elsewhere.

How are the Big Horns in March Vert? I was told they get smashed every March and a lot of the guides from Togwotee head there from a friend who rides Tog often. Know anything about this?

No, but from the little bit I saw Sunday, it's pretty good riding right now. IF a few spring storms roll thru and drop some fresh it'll just get better. Sunday was over the hood in a lot of places.

I can check with Moto and Frado and find out what it typically is like.

I talked to Mud and Olaf today. Everyone's on a different page. I'm up for trailering and riding my own shit, so is Olaf. That means the Snowies. Rubi is against leaving his home base so he wouldn't meet us. Flatty is going by Rubi, so Mud wants to meet him out that way. This seems like it's me, Olaf, and someone else that hasn't chimed in yet going to the Snowies while Mud, Rubi, etc are riding wherever and Jackson Hole.

Sounds like Cuzz might be considering BigHorns as an alternate to Snowies. I can hook us up with locals in BigHorns, I think Cuzz knows locals in Snowies. Travel wise I think BigHorns is closer for you.

Indeed.... we'll be heading to the Snowies (or that general area) in the beginning of April. I spoke with Jay today and he is in.

We gotta figure out which is better... up by the mountains or down in Albany.

Bryan, are you looking for more hills or meadows.... or both?

Something where I won't die would be great.

LOL. You can stay off of the hills if we stay closer to the mountains.

My understanding is you gotta ride 25 miles worth of trails to get to the mountains from Albany or Wycolo. You have a lot more meadow and tree type riding down by Albany and more and more hills/mountains as you head north near the Mountain Meadow Cabins.

Mountain Meadow Cabins - I suggest we stay in this cabin.
http://www.mtnmeadowcabins.com/mdtourw.htm

Here is the lodging choice in Albany -
http://www.albanylodge.com/lodging.htm

And the lovely website for the Wycolo lodge
http://www.wycololodge.com/lodgingDetails.html

The Wycolo Lodge is close to the CO border. I dunno if RMKer and Indygirl would come out to ride with us. I think Walden is 25 miles from the Wycolo Lodge.

Just some ideas. I know Andy and Jay will have more to say about this.

I can not leave until April 3rd (after work) or after. I am good for the whole following week till whenever. Basically, I am good anywhere between April 3rd after work and April 15th.

After talking to Moto, conditions can vary pretty widely then depending on timing of spring storms. Hit it within a couple days, have great snow ....... 2 days later it all may be concrete.

I'll decide as it gets closer. I'm heading up to Michigan this weekend and possibly out to Colorado in mid March. I'd like to go west again but will play it by ear based on the weather.
