Default Diet Help!!!!

Ok guys, it's time for me to make a life change! I don't want to be the fat kid anymore.
I would like to know who is on a diet, or has been on a diet and what has worked the best for them.

I know "Bryan" you've been on a few diet's, whats worked for you the best and what was the final outcome.

To help you know my situation, I can't afford a gym membership right now due to being out of work but with that said, do I really want to join one with summer right around the corner?
Also does anyone here drink green tea? Is there a benefit to drinking green tea? And what's the best tasting green tea?

I am very very self conscious about telling people my weight but with your help and support i am hoping to use you guys as a crutch to keep me on track.

I am hoping to give you a weekly update with a weigh in.

If anyone else would like to join me in this venture (Cough cough Harry, Cuzz, Bryan) and start a program of weekly weigh ins, this would be great!


So here goes nothing.........

What worked best? Taking the original Hydroxycut with Ephedrine. Made me run around like a coke head and I was never hungry. I dropped 34lbs in like a month.

Your options:

A. Develop a coke habit. 6 months and you'll look like an Olsen twin.

B. Get a job where you're stressed 14 hours a day.

C. PORTION CONTROL. It's not what you eat but how much you eat.

C. Portion Control, and that is my final answer.

Go for a long fast walk, jog slowly, get a elliptical, ride a bike, stay away from sugars and corn syrup, learn to like vodka and soda water instead of beer.

I'm a fat kid now but was once in very good shape. Your best bet is lots of cardio, a good night sleep, and portion control. Eat several smaller snacks instead of 1 or 2 big meals. Stay away from carbs.

If you can keep your meals to 10 grams or less (X carbs (plus) X sugars (MINUS) X fiber) you'll be on your way. This is very difficult for the first 3 weeks but you will DEFINITELY see a difference.

If you can get your hands on ephedrine you'll be good but that stuff will give you the shakes if you never took it before. Caffeine pills and asprin will work to keep your energy up if you want to do it with minimal cost.

Try and work out your chest, arms, stomach, and some sort of leg exercise (running, walking, etc.)

I just bought a bottle of Hydroxycut but without the Ephedrine. Ephedrine is like cocaine over here in Canuck Land, All sales of products with Ephedrine in them have been banned!
So both of you say Portion control is one of the main keys. How about drinking stupid amounts of water?
Bryan, Have you tried the Hydroxycut drink packs? They say to pour one into a bottle of water 3 times a day. I was just wondering if they work as well as the pills and if the taste is OK!

From a nurses point of view my dear polarisrich is: eat 6 small meals a day, eating more fruits, vegetables, meats. not fried meats, baked. Stay away from any pasteurized foods like mac cheese, ect. Stop drinking beer!!!!! lots of calories. And you surely need more exercise!!!!!!! we all know what kind of exercise-CARDIO with lots of sweat!!!!

Take it back, none of the diet pills work anymore. They banned ephedrine here too, now NONE of the diet pills work. FYI you can order ephedrine online. Doesn't take much either.

For me, keeping active keeps my hunger away. I need to get on a scale but I'd have to say that I've lost 10 or so pounds at the new job. Running around, not sitting behind a desk, not getting terribly hungry, and a lot of the time just grabbing something quick and small - even if it is a cheeseburger from Booger Fling. I eat very little in the morning, a snack around 9 or 10, a small lunch, and dinner. I no longer eat 4 or 5 big meals a day. Yes you read that right, I used to eat a big meal before work, at work, after work, and 1 possibly 2 meals (yes MEALS) before bed. My schedule doesn't allow me to do that anymore, if you're asleep by 10:00 you don't get hungry - and since I wake up at 5 I'm not terribly hungry for the first hour or so (which is my drive to work. I spend it chain smoking and drinking coffee).

If I were you? I would:

Find a hot slut to occupy your time. Not only will she take time away from you and food BUT you'll be burning calories like hell fucking the shit out of her.

When you do eat, stop before you're full. It's that simple.

(Moral of the story, get and stay active and eat small meals).

little different boat for me, at least 60# over what i should be. When working I sit behind a steering wheel most of the time. Have gotten to the point of, If I do eat out it is 1 grilled chicken or 1wimpy hamburger. No big burger double with all the tasty fattening sauce! no fries!
No stock pile of suger filled snacks or cookies, cakes, donuts... at home or work!
If you have to have breakfast, chrieos, chex corn flakes in place of my favorite frutie pebbles.
A lot of days for me, a banana for breakfast, sandwich for lunch, 1/2 of a snack bag of sunchips for mid afternoon covers my 12 hour day when on the road. Not much, but also not much work involved in the 3 walks from the fuel island to the store. try to get a walk in before bed in nice weather.

Drinking lots of water is great. It is good for you and keeps you full and makes you eat less.

I'd be game for some sort of Biggest Loser contest on here. I joined one at work but it is hard to exercise during the winter for me. I want to get back into biking and couldn't do it when it was cold out.

Ultrasgirl is correct, eat more often and smaller meals. I peaked at 330 lbs and now weigh 260. What worked for me was 1)smaller portions 2) stayed away from deep fried or greasy foods, 3)BBQ my meat more often. Its been 12 years since I was at this weight. If the weight comes off slower it stays off longer.

Do as IBS says, fund a hot slut but make sure she has plenty of crack to smoke

I think some of the best advice that has been said came from you! When you do eat, stop before you're full. It's that simple. This is one of the hardest things for me to do because I never feel full and I never get hungry. This sounds strange but it's due to the fact that I don't eat properly and I don't eat at the right times. My old ways were to have a Coffee for breakfast, Coffee for lunch, Huge dinner, Coffee after dinner and snack all night untill I wen't to bed with a full stomach. Sorry I forgot to add a few Beers or a few Whiskey's per day!

Now as a nurse can you anwser me this.... Is the BMI full of shit? It says for my height and age I should weigh 164 Lbs. Bullshit!!!! I couldn't get to that weight with all the fat, coked up, fucked in the head hookers in the world.



Did I mention that I'm real real hungry right now!

Yesterday wen't well and today has gone even better. The wife surprised me with the WII Fit board and I went for a 6k bike ride. Still Hungry!

So I also went and bought some Green tea yesterday to swap for my daily beer rations. The stuff taste like hot cup of ASS!

I'm Still trying to learn to eat several times a day also.

Burn more calories add 2 coke sluts to your routine and an 8 ball!!! you will have no problem losing weight!!!!

#1, any UPPER (Caffeine, coke, ephendrine, etc) kills you appetite. All that caffeine....

#2, Although I'm a big dude, BMI calls me "Morbidly obese". Yes most of you have seen me - but really? Am I like that guy that deep fries his chicken on his bedstand and won't leave his bed? In fact, it calls Jamie "Obese". Ya right.

#3, I've never had hot green tea. Seems like it would taste like shit. I drink the cold stuff - 99cents for a can from Arizona. Good shit.
