I will give a sober translation.

i am very pleased that there are still some people out there who appreciate working on the older sleds! All of my buddies keep telling me to go out and spend a lot of money on a new one. My reply to them is why should I when i can spend less money in an older sled and have more fun. i like to have alcoholic drinks at my job. if I cant drink at my job in the future I will have to look elsewhere for employment.

Got the tunnel together and the protector strips in.
Now I need to get the bulkhead welded and I can start reassembly.
Next will be the engine tear down and rebuild.

Well, today I got the welding done, so progress is being made slowly.
Ready to start on the reassembly of the frame and then the engine.

I'll have some pics for the next posting.

BTW MC, good job on the translation, I tried 3 times to read that and figured whatever it was wasn't worth wasting more time on.

Turns out I was right...

I like what your doing, pretty cool.

I still want to do some swaping engines and Fancy paint job, I always like the Plum black paint. Think that would look Cool on a Cat. Meow.

Try fitting a newer suspension into a old sled. LOL

Good Luck Kid, lets see photos when you have a chance.

Getting started today.

I have decided that this sled is getting the rear suspension from the 93 since I am getting a new (97 ZR skid) one for the 93.

Drove up to Schenectady today to pick up the 97 ZR skid from SkiDooFormulaMX.
350 miles, 13 gal of gas, almost 27mpg with my Ranger (03 two wd w/ 3l V6 and 5 speed standard).

Pulled the skid from the 93 yesterday, its kinda fucked. I'll have to rebuild it to use it in this sled.
Cracked rail, broken front shock mount, worn out hy-fax.
Fortunately, I have most of the parts to repair it already, just had to order the lower front shock mount assembly.

As it turns out, the new skid that I just bought is from an 01 ZR, not a 97 and is the ACT with rebuildable shocks. A few missing bushings to replace and I can bolt it right in.
