Cool Performance mods on my 96 Polaris 600

So I just bought this 96 Polaris 600 with psi mod blaster pipes and 38mm carbs. The guy I bought it from said the oil injector was turned up a bit more.but I'm having some concerns first of wich the oil pump , I heard they are prone to failure and second the crank bearings tend to go in this engine does anyone know any tricks or good info on these modified engines. The thing sounds just freakin sick! And runs very smoothly but I'm wondering how reliable it's going to be. If anything I may take it in to make sure it's tuned properly.

if you want it to live, slow down the RPMs so the crank wont brake. at which point ya might as well detune it also. If the oil pump has you worried stop using it and mix your gas the old fashion messy way. with most operators, 600 mods don't live long.

Well I've decided to remove the pipes and put the original exhuast back on. Do you think the 38 mm carbs will work ok?also how would I go about removing or bypassing the oil pump so I can put premix in. I've found the online manuals but can't load them with my iPhone does anyone have pictures of there crank reuild and what ports need to be drilled out for better lubercation.also where I can find these super crank bearings the other members have been talking about. Thanks muchly
