#1 matches the logo/header on the top of this forum.

#5 is cool, makes a statement but I don't think it's "us".

I prefer #1. I wonder how hard it would be to change the main pic on here in the header into the front of the shirt? Fade it all around, move the words a little. It could be done in 2 colors too. The question is how detailed the screenprinting can get.

it would literally be down right impossible..

in order to do that i would need atleast a 150 dpi image.

and for the ones who know not much about screen printing is they take and seperate the colors and make a negative. you literally pour ink into that negative and use a squeegy and force the ink into the shirt then heat it until the ink cures into the shirt. then using another negative you apply the other colors.

the only other way is using special ink and a transfer paper and heat the paper hot enough to melt the ink to the shirt material, but they tend to fade over time..

and if we keep it simple it can easily be embroiderd onto a hat and window decal and vinyl..

i dunno what they need for the vinyl so if someone here can do that let me know and i'll adjust the design accordingly

I like the #6 on the list

To print on vinyl. you just use a plastic based ink that will air dry with a catalyst mixed in to the ink.
*note* I worked two years on a label printer press that also did the die cutting at the same time.

yep. Each color is a separate operation. Also, fades are not always easy to accomplish with inks. He's got someone on the job tho clenly.

For anything larger, you will need a highspeed press and/or a large format plotter or color printer.

Bulldog here's our thinking. and constraints

Looking at a design to incorperate 2 colors + black (t-shirt color) to keep production costs down.
must be embroiderable for hats and that.
and must be printable for vinyl..

and what i have there is just the text, still working on a graphic to tie it together

I'm going to be the asshat that says your shooting for the stars. Need to start small. Get the Tshirts and decals done. Then worry about the other shit. Gonna sell more tshirts and decals than anything else. The ole 'KISS' rule comes into play here. If you don't know what 'KISS' stands for...'Keep It Simple Stupid'.
