Default I thought I found a sled for the wife!

Ok so I been looking for a sled for my wife and just to have another sled around for a guest or backup, I found this sled on Craigslist and was pretty excited about it seemed like a great find and I was ready to deal, until the guy responded with this...http://detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/rvs/1538970506.html

The price is $2300.
This sled will make you proud, it is in excellent condition, the miles are original only 102, VIN:SN1NP5BS55C525250 ,no mechanical problems,no scratches, flaws or any kind of damage, all functional and it will need nothing in the near future.
I have the sled sealed at DAS terminal in Whittier,CA ready to be shipped out will take 4-5 days through DAS and it will be free,my previous buyer(his loan did not get approved) already paid for it and DAS didn't want to refund him the shipping fee.
I cannot meet face2face I have a new job in Tucson, AZ I would like to use Autotrader Vehicle Purchase to take care of this deal, smooth and safe.
PICS HERE : http://picasaweb.google.com/erpecher...80518563186802
Let me know if you have any other questions, hope i didn't miss anything.

Thank you, Daniel.

I smell scam, what a joke, maybe I should just send this guy my Visa card..lol, anyways keep your eyes peeled for this or similar adds on Craigslist the thing that sucks is someone will fall for it.

Use a third party broker to float the money until sled is received, that way if it IS a scam, yuo aren't out anything but the broker fee.

First, shipping is different depending on where it's being shipped.

Second, ask him where he rode it in California?

Check the VIN to see if it is even a real vehicle, then if it checks out, go for it.

^^^ These fuckers take EBAY ads and put them other places. Ebay ads have the VIN and pics, they make a new fake listing on something like CL, and try and get buyers.

I'm assuming Autotrader Vehicle Purchase is some kind of escrow service like Paypal. Although it certainly looks like a scam, I wouldn't try to run a scam through Paypal. What would be the point? I wouldn't get paid.

Also, there's plenty of snow in California.

I became a member on the site so I could post the emails I received... this is crazy! I told him I was still interested to see what it they he whoever would say! SCAMMER!!!!!

Here is how it works if you have never used Autotrader.
You send me your full name and your shipping address so I can initiate the transaction.Autotrader contacts you with further details regarding the payment and shipping process. You submit the payment to Autotrader, Autotrader confirms the payment and asks me to release the shipment.I ship the bike which should be at your door within 5 business days. You have a 3 days inspection period before you confirm the deal and Autotrader forwards the payment to me or you cancel the deal and you get your money back and return the bike free of charge.
Basicly Autotrader holds your money safe until you confirm that the bike is what you have been expected and you want to buy it. It is not a sight unseen deal.
On the other hand I can ship the bike knowing Autotrader has your money and you won't disappear with my bike. We are both covered.Sorry for the long emails I have tried to touch all bases.

Thank you, Nathan.

Is it possible that Nathan got divorced/into legal troubles/broke as hell and is just selling all his crap? I'd use the same email if I were selling multiple toys.

Mine came from a guy who named himself Daniel Horsley his email address is bolivia25@gmail.com does this match up with yours? Mookie don't be so naive thats how these guys make there money. They then set up a fake website and give you a hyperlink which in turn you think your money is going to a third party and poof your cash is gone and the chances of catching them are impossible because the fuckers are in Nigeria or some damn useless country. You ever hear of Autotrader Vehicle purchase? No because it don't exist! But unless you did research you wouldn't know this and thats how these guys find there pray...it makes me so fuckin angry ahhhhhhhh.

The thing is how do you stop these people.....I certainly will never buy anything online again unless its through a Dealer or local so I can inspect it.

This guy is trying to sell a lot of stuff. Glad I posted, hope it helps to prevent someone from being scammed.
