This hill was 10Xs as hard. You can't tell how steep or deep it is. It took me 3 times to make it up. You'll see the sled standing almost straight up with the skis in the air when I first hit the steep part.



Maybe you'll get the idea watch Ken's (Sabercat) sled roll down to the bottom. There was a nasty lip there that bucked up left/right each time.



I would like a smaller sled to make things more difficult but can't do that right now. Ideally a M7 with a 141 would work for this.

The new sled has a HELL OF A LOT MORE power than the old one. The can is MUCH more quiet.

You have no idea how bad I want to go up that hill.

How come we never got a chance at that hill? The only hills we got to try were dense trees full of stumps. Hard to interpret a line, when there is no line. Bushwhacking kind of blows.

I remember that hill, you've been there Rubi. I'd have attempted that fucker, looks like it claimed at least one fail on video. It's so much steeper than it looks on video, it's a wicked little hill. I climbed the bottom part a couple times to help stucks but never attempted the top because it looks like there is nowhere to go once you get up there.

No we weren't. It's close to that little hill that Slanteye rolled on last year, we never went there either.

I tried two times before I made it. Powersledder and I tried it a few years ago and couldn't make it. It is much steeper than it looks in the video. Once you get to the top it is flat. There is another climb through the trees on a hill above it with no ledge on top. You'd only be able to highmark it and then you'd better hope you come down right between all the trees. It is steep.

Oh, that's the one near the top of the mine just north of Mass. Had we went there this year I would have attempted it with the 440 and probably made it farther than my RMK did.

I am not sure which any more. Also the gravy was top notch. There is a little story to go along with that. It goes something like this:
Mookie: We have to leave tomorrow at the ass crack of dawn if not
sooner, I need to do some pointless stupid shit at the big city.

Baller: But we didnt get to sample Muds man gravy and biscuits yet.

Mookie: I dont give a rats ass we have been away from the big city too long already, we need to get back for some pointlessly stupid reason.

Baller: If we wake up a 7:30 that should give us enough time to eat Mud's gravy and still leave by 8.

Mookie: No you stupid son of a bitch we need to leave way sooner than
you can imagine, besides that will never happen you will just waste shitloads of time and I wont get back to my beloved big city soon enough.

Baller: You are a dumbass it does not take that long to cook a biscuit and eat it.

Mookie: I need to get back to the big city I am leaving by 8, and a hard 8 with or without you.

Baller as Mud comes back into the house: Mud how long does it take to made that gravy of yours?

Mud: Not that long.

Baller in an overly harsh tone (sorry mud); When are you waking up?

Mookie: It does not matter I love the big city too much to wait for anything.

Mud: Not sure

Baller refering to Mookie: This dumbass thinks that it is impossible to wake up at 7:30 and still eat your gravy.

Mud: Thats the stupidest thing i have ever heard, but I will just make the Mud gravy and biscuits now.

Baller: Oh that would be cool then I could sample them before bed.

Mookie: It still does not matter there will never be enough time to do anything we should just sleep in my truck so we can get an early start.

Mookie: Oh no I drank my two beers I am very tired (tired being code for too drunk off two beers to function).
Mookie exits.

Baller, Gerbil, Mud and Wolfie then proceed to drink more beer and in time sample Muds biscuits and gravy which was delicious. Also in the morning
it was also delicious and it didnt get in Mookie's way of racing back to the big city in the least.

So in conclusion I would like to say that Mud is a baller both in riding and in cooking. Thanks Mud.

I was so close to falling asleep waiting for those biscuts and gravy that night. And then I ate them, and they put me over the edge so quick that I only made it as far as that crappy couch before being knocked out by all the delicious goodness of Mud's mangravy...

And Baller didn't ask harshly when Mud was getting up, it was more of a plea, with those big blinking hopeful-for-mangravy puppy eyes.
