got these last week. But couldn't say no to the price. They both have spark and both turn over freely so going to finish cleaning them up and get two new batteries and then test them and either sell one or both or use them as money makers for rentals over the summer.

Did you get those in my neck of the woods? Last week I read an ad on craigslist that had a 550 and 440 both for $800.

I'm in the process of cleaning them up getting new batteries, plugs, gas, oil and making sure they are running properly. I will keep you up to date

nope got them in chanohan IL for $650. for the fact that they don't run but the guy was very nice but not the sharpest tool in the shed and he said they both ran before but don't now. But they both spark and he said they fired on starting fluid so sense I know motors fairly well I should have them going by next weekend if I get time to work on them.

im just sayin

i know he had to drive his V8 truck an hour or two to pick up.

Then he bought new batteries and carb rebuild kits for them. Then tuned them up...thats as much as i know.

so $400 he would maybe be breaking even...I paid $650 for mine(same ski)

Now that I'm getting threatening messages from poopersledder I feel forced to withdraw my offer. Sorry but I fear for my snowmobile.

I would do $500 for the labor i spent on it the new battery and the pipe I just put on it. I know I got them for cheap but they weren't working took me time and money to get them running so that would break me even on that one and i don't even know about the other one haven't started it yet

Dont know if this will help you PS, but i know back in the day, those style of Kawis were real popular around QCs and around Iowa City out at the Lake McBride and the likes. I never heard anything bad about them. Hope this helps.

cant find a bad thing about these skis nor about there motors. this one has good compression sounds beastly. I know I sounds like a salesman saying this sht but I know sean looked as well and didn't find out any bad news about the motors nor have I heard there pretty bullet proof.

You can have fun riding in a one acre pond for an entire day. Standups are very addicting. I think I'm keeping mine as of now.
