Have a truck, that's why I didn't figure I would need a trailer right away.

I don't think I'll be needing a trailer at that price...

Snowman, can you take a look at the VIN and let me know what year this thing is? I should have asked this before I guess lol

Another question, what's stock and what's not? After doing some research it looks like I am going to want an extended ride plate, new impeller and high compression (93 oct) head? Those sound like good ideas?

Stay away from the head for now. LEARN TO RIDE IT FIRST. Then mod acordingly. The rideplate is most likely a good option if it doesn't have an aftermarket one already.

But modding is fun lol, this is the problem I have when I get/am getting something new and can't ride it yet. I start thinkign about all the things I can do with it.

I've been reading that for bigger guys an ext ride plate is a must or I'll never be able to reach top speed without getting bucked off?

Also, I don't think I'll ever get a trailer for it. I like these ideas better.

dude.....i run an 1989 650 SX....all you do is take that trailer you currently have them on and bolt down 4 - 4inch PVC pipes to the deck and slide it on the grooves in the hull....fits like a glove...then just bolt off for winter time and sleds....you have ever thing u need right there dude

I would stay away from motor, but ride plate and good prop are key.

A pipe and intake will make you happy, but I'd call it quits there. If you want faster get a 750
