the secondary is attached to the track drive shaft. no chain case or gears. they lack some on hole shots but do ok when on the move. fan motors were the norm 30 - 40 hp so 65hp ought to help move it. forget the exact track length, but shorter then 121" might be 114"

that green is half the sleeper appeal lol

here is an add that shows an under hood shot. http://www.sledswap.com/class/i/19327/i.html

Thanks, thats cool to learn that. Wonder in u could shoehorn a storm motor in there, that would be real interesting. Be a lot of fab work, but it would be a mother in 660ft. Yeeeeehawwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

John Deere came out with the original working idea using a 340 F/A and it was one of the incentives for polaris to buy them. very light weight.

It would be killer if you had the time and ability of fit a stock 8 133.5 in her and put a good built 440f/c in her. That way you wouldnt have to fool with plumbing issue accumulated by going l/c. Very interesting idea, do you think it would be plauseble? For ski stance, you could but the extenders (width) on them, like i did with a ol Charger i had years ago.

thinking running board or tunnel if board will not work. no bulkhead cooler. can get an easy 65hp from the lite weight 340LC

I do have a spare X10 and 1.25x 121 track. But then, the shorter stock track would take less to turn.

Ive got a bulk head cooler, and running board coolers. Id donate them to the project just to see what it does in the 660 and 1000ft.

I just membered BA, ive got a suspension out of a 84 indy trail 440, and the track. The track is in fairly bad shape though. If u end up playing with it, and you want a bulk head cooler or the skid, just let me know.
